Adventure Bound Fishing Lodges
Adventure Bound Sports Fishing currently represents 6 Lodges, 5 in Costa Rica and 1 in Guatemala. In Costa Rica, two offer Tarpon, Caribbean Coastal fisheries and exotic river fishing. The other three provide Sailfish, Marlin and Pacific Coastal fisheries.
Normally you will fly into San Jose (or Guatemala City) from the US. Most major airlines fly into both cities, at least once a day from multiple locations. You will be picked up and taken to your hotel after you clear customs.
Early the following morning, you will be picked up and travel to your Lodge, either by car or regional airlines. You will arrive at the Lodge early enough to fish.
If you travel by regional airlines, you will be picked up at the local airport and taken to the lodge. As a reminder, the regional airline (Sansa) allows the first 27 pounds of baggage to travel at no charge. Above 27 pounds, the charge is $1 per pound, each way. Most of the lodges provide daily laundry service, which will allow you to reduce the amount of clothing you pack.
All Lodges provide inclusive service, including excellent food service and a bar and transportation to and from the Lodge to San Jose or Guatemala City. Lunch on the boat is also provided.
Each Lodge has its own level of amenities and non-fishing activities. Adventure Bound can assist you in ensuring the Lodge you select will meet your expectations.
